How to Play

Complete all six tasks shown on your checklist.

The directional markers at the top of the screen point toward unfinished tasks. As the countdown approaches midnight, a creature will begin hunting you.

Once every task is complete, return to the caretaker cabin and hold E at the door to close and lock it.

Lock the door before the creature catches you to survive the shift.

About

Graveyard Shift is a short first-person horror game where you work alone as the caretaker of a remote cemetery.

Repair headstones, remove dead flowers, light grave lanterns, and fill open graves while the clock counts down toward midnight. The longer you take, the more dangerous the cemetery becomes.

Game Jam

Created in under four days by Jacob Jones for the game jam theme Count Down.

The countdown controls the growing danger of the cemetery and pressures the player to finish the shift before midnight.
